Anybody else having issues with "Beginning of a New Future"?

The side quest given by the foreman on New Romulus doesn't seem to be completing, thus no reward. You can, however, still accept it as normal. You just can't complete the assignment.



Anybody having, or had, the same issue?

    Yes its a bug, i dont know how long its been that way. I started noticing it myself maybe 2 weeks ago? It's a minor bug so who knows when it will get fixed (if at all).

    The bug showed up with the DR release. Tribble patch notes today listed it as fixed, so it should be working when the next patch comes to Holodeck.

    Still not working. Not recognizing the missions that were finished in the correct area or in any area for that matter.

    As what the other stated and I can confirm, it was working before the Delta Rising patch. After that, it stopped.

    I just ran "Beginning of a New Future" yesterday with my KDF main, and although it completed with rewards, the window stayed open & looked as though it had not run yet. It's possible that it was somehow influenced by a "Red Alert" mission in the same zone, but I can't be sure. The Red Alert mission also completed with rewards, before I finished the mission already in progress. Between the Hwael Ruins and Staging area, along with a Red Alert in both of these, Radiation reports, Resonating rocks, and Glowing plants, I came a way with ~120 marks for the hour or so I was in there... :o

    It's broken for me for my Fed and Klingon characters -- for the Klingon it says to help in the vastam peaks. I go there, do the quest, get the normal reward for Vatam but nothing for the daily and it stays "in progress."

    My fed has been stuck on help in staging area for over a week. No matter how many times I help that nice Romulan spy go to sleep (dirt nap!) the mission never completes.

    That's 320 dil I'm not getting. Curse you quest bug! CURSE YOU!!
