I'm referring to the Salvaged Technology be bound, not the items coming from R & D once it's completed.

Farming items is not an exploit.

The devs don't make things bound because prices on the exchange are too high. Otherwise the JHAS wouldn't have been the most desirable ship in the game for as long as it has been.

If they decide to adjust the scaling, fine, but Don't you already fail the mission already on elite if you don't react to ALL the NPC's interrogations correctly? Don't you already fail the mission if you don't get the objective? Isn't it already harder than advanced and normal because of this? I just don't see why every elite mission has to be one big DPS fest myself.
Don't we already have enough missions with this expansion that require insane DPS?

it shouldn't have anything to do with making 1 particular crafting component bound to account.

    I agree with this sentiment.

I disagree with making Salvaged Technology bound. It's part of the game's R&D crafting economy.
It's prices are driven by demand.

Removing them from the economy by making them bound will cause an imbalance in the economy. Only crafters will be making any ECs then.

yep you fail if you do not get the interrogations correct.
In cryptic's infinite wisdom the huge amounts of hull etc is clearly a game changer.
they responded somewhere that they could not rebuild the AI due to something like time constraints or lack of this, that and the other.
everything is always followed by an excuse or a nerf lately.

and who will get punished for cryptics lazyness and ignorance this time?

Random players will come in and find random doffs missing as a result of the EP deciding to retro-nerf Commendation Points as these were "very carefully determined to be exploits in PvE missions"

Maybe they also noticed that ROMULAN KDF CAPTAINS CANNOT TRAIN BOFFS FOR A WEEK NOW ?

Yeah, how about those KDF-aligned Romulans who CAN'T TRAIN BOFFS.

And it's been since DR launch, at least.

You can't train them on New Romulus, but at least training is available on Qo'noS. Yes, its a bug, and yes, it needs to be fixed, but at least training is available *somewhere*.

Update: We expect that all the queues taken down will be back up and running in our Thursday maintenance.

Any update on this? Thursday has passed... unless you meant a different Thursday than 10/30?

    I miss SB24 and Gorn!

Azure Rescue is back. I noticed it about 20 minutes ago. I must have missed it the last time I looked but still no Mine Trap another with a handful of others.
