Devs: Why "Nerf everything" is NOT ideal for STO

Not raging but stating a fact. Why “nerf everything” is still a continuous policy?

The locked box provides a stable source of income to STO but why is there a policy to increase the number of nerfs to STO.

Is it the model to have players grind until blood come out from their eyes or have them spend money to bypass the grinding system altogether? I can understand the benefit of locked boxes but nerfing the game to death will make it unplayable.

It is not just the exploit uncovered with DR recently but there is a pattern of making players very uncomfortable to adjust to grind more due to the “nerf everything” ideology. I’m a lifer and have seen this great game going from a “great experience” to a “grinding orgy fest”.

I understand “some” players use exploits and is human nature to be creative to find better solutions. However, WHY punish the rest of the community for the ill use of some. Why do you let time and time again a minority ruin the game for ALL?

Below is the list of the different so called exploits and nerfs done to the game to my recollection (I’m very sure there are a ton more).
Please adapt a better model than just “nerf everything”. This is an enjoyable game and let’s keep it that way. IMO the community is hoping Cryptic will come to their senses and STOP nerfing this great game.

Please re-institute previous Skill points level as it was before the last patch of 10/23. Fix the exploits but enough of the nerfing and learn from the mistakes of the past:
