a 6:30 minute Infected run says, missions are ok... but unfortunately teh announcement that the missions are easier made all the clueless players come out of teh woodwork and most pugs have been unmigitated disasters for me today because of that.
I find it varies depending on the mission. The old classics like ISA and Crystalline are peachy. I have yet to complete the borg disconnected or Rhiho station (in fact people have given up on that one I'd say).
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
Advanced is still boring right now. NPCs just have so much health; Tactical Cubes have 5,000,000 health, Cubes have 460,000, and Spheres have 350,000. Advanced is just a DPS race that doesn't require Science Vessels or Cruisers. The only thing worth bringing right now is a pure damage starship.
NPCs need to get more abilities and their health needs to be cut in half. When I go into an STF I want to be genuinely challenged by combat. What we have right now is a fish in the barrel shootout against enemies that can't kill players; but can take extremely high amounts of damage. There's no fun because there is no challenge and enemies are tedious to fight against in Space. Right now Ground doesn't have any problems at all in terms of balance.
short answer NO! especially when spheres are 350k and cubes are 450K. I have yet to be in a pug that got past the first transformer. Most pugs simply don't have the 30-40k group dps it would take to get it done the way its been done in the past. Especially true as the group makeup is random and there is no way to guarantee there is the right balance of tact/eng/sci to able to do it without top shelf dps. the last group did it all right but still couldn't get the transformer before the nanites reached it. Also the transformer is 1.8M which means at least 4 of the team have to focus on it or you will fail and even then at 30k dps it would take 60 seconds to take it down. Without a dedicated grav well sci guy in the group ISA is not possible as it stands right now for pugs. I don't want to use channels I like just queueing up. I don't like using channels and sitting around waiting 3-4xs longer than queues for someone to start a group for what I need and I don't like having to make my own groups.
Cryptic may as well delete the public queue system. Experienced players like myself use to be able to carry a mission. But with such a small chance for success it's just a waste of time now. 10 marks is a TRIBBLE in the wind and they know it.
The subject line says it all; I've been at work all dat and haven't hears anyone say anything about it.

yesterday I played only ISA, KASA and CSA... I haven't played elite because I can't find them in the queues (are them avaible?).
IMHO only CSA need some tuning: bops are still to much resistent, mostly if compared to raptors and negh'vars. I do not remember if nanite generators were still too weak since I was defending the kang and my teammates did not give me the time to try
ISN, KASN and CSN are so easy you can destroy borg ships just launching them dirty socks out of the window!
Not good to learn how to play advanced!!!!

perhaps there is a difference in running them when scaled up to 60. I am level 53 with mk 13 rom plasma main guns and fleet mogai upgrade and my experience is very different than yours.
CE is a walk in the park. Infected space takes longer but is not big deal. Bug hunt is easy enough.
They seem fine to me. There may be some anomalies, or you may gt the worst group known to man but if a half decent team turn up you will be fine. they are a little tougher than before but nothing too serious.
From what I've seen in game, my opinion is that the adjustments made thus far are very good! However I would like to see the stats for Advanced NPCs adjusted down a bit further.

...this explains why my T5-U Fleet Nebula wasn't drawing any complaints in the ISA pug I was in last night, heh!
Despite it's dps(-still- looking to crack 4k), it's loaded for bear in the crowd control department, as well as being a defensive beast(Mk XIII Dyson space set and every available personal/space trait geared for defense/evasion)...we popped the left generators 1st within a few seconds of each other, and as soon as the spheres spawned from the gateway, I dropped everything and went after them, using everything I had to keep them occupied and/or strip potential buffs...Grav Well III, Graviton Pulse Generator, Gravimetric Photon Torp, Vaad Tricobalt Cluster Torp, Aceton Assimilator, Proton Barrage, Tractor Beam Repulsors....
Was more than enough for the left transformer to go down, but my own skidplate needed saving once the spheres took offense to me having delayed them!
The right transformer was a little trickier; my ability combo timing was a bit off, and one or 2 spheres nearly got through, only being kept off by a desperation TBR(held in reserve for just a scenario)...once that was done, the gateway went down next, and the tac cube was last....
Finished with just under a minute to spare, and the team was feeling pretty good about it!
Sadly, I did a PuG ISA earlier, and some idiot in a Narcine carrier took great offense at my showing up in a T5-U Rhode Island, commenting that I "might as well be shooting water at the Borg".

Look at it as a compliment. The borg do not adapt to water, so eventually you would be more useful than him.
Heh, I -admit- to having lousy dps(the best this ship's setup can put out right now is -maybe- 3,500)...I also don't CARE that I have lousy dps...given that I'm hopelessly unemployed and only play 2-4 hours a day at present, I'm aware that I'll never be able to get up to that level anytime soon...so I focus on what I -can- do...which is set those mobs up so someone -else- can knock 'em all down with a minimum of fuss!
One'a these days, Reyan01, we need to organize an all Sci-ship IS-Advanced or something, just to see what happens...good idea??

One thing to keep in mind is that you should never play a given way because someone else wants it. You play as you like (just as you said you do). The sooner people understand this, the sooner they can start having fun, which is why a game exists.
I ran CSA and CGA each a day before and right after the patch. After the patch the teams I ran with just rolled over the AI. It seemed very similar to the Old Elite's.
The post patch CGA was a channel organized run. The team just slayed the Borg. There was really no challenge. The pre-patch CGA was an organized channel run and we had a little difficulty but not a lot of challenge. We ran through that also. The new push back mechanic was interesting.
Post patch CSA was a pug. There was no communication, people just came rolled over the AI and left. The lack of communication was sort of sad. BoP's actually swarmed Kang, and we really should have lost that match; but Kang still seemed buffed. The pre-patch run was channel organized. It was hard, I was on my toes the entire time.
I think CGA was fine before the patch. I think CSA AI hitpoints and shield points could stand for a buffing.
I love the Cure's so I run them often. I'm a torpedo boat Sci so I bring some dps but full Aux to the fight. I have felt that the buffed shield and hit points of NPC's in DR have neutered many of my full Aux sci abilities, with exceptions being GW, Trac. Beam, HE and PH.

Ran KSA last night and it doesn't really feel all that different to the old elite. It might've taken a little longer to down the probes? ISA still feels like it takes significantly longer than the old elite (welcome for me), but KSA felt nearly the same, which is disappointing.
CCA was the same way -- the Tholians took longer to down, the entity itself shattered effortlessly like the old elite. Methinks there might've been too much nerfing done to this one.
Ground advanced feels no harder than the old elite. Even ground elite feels no harder than the old elite.
Space advanced was fine before the HP nerf. Now they're really easy.
The only problem advanced difficulty STFs had were the returning casual players, who go off on their own and TRIBBLE up the whole thing.
Just now I was in an 4-man team ISA. Even though we were down a player, everything was proceeding fine and on time. Then an idiot decides to kirk-it and blow up a nanite generator on the otherside.
I'll say it again, the problem wasn't that we were a man down or had insufficient DPS, it's that another player went and screwed it up.
Either the word is not getting out or people still feel that advanced is too long or difficult. The queues are less than 50% of what they were before the expansion.
I really feel that they need to seriously look at these mission by mission and see which are too difficult to complete. It's unfair to completely shut the average player off from the VR mats and processors. Remember this is advanced only - the middle level.

I rebuild my temporal vessel to play as torpedo boat and crowd control ship... actually I can reach up to 15k dps and still have to upgrade several weapons/console and unlock most of specialization abilities..

I can answer for myself, others may have a similar experience. After the patch I decided to try ISA with my main. First group easy - more or less as the old Elites. Team goes left; someone pops a generator, then the other three go pop as well. Team does not have the DPS for the transformer, nor the nanite spheres. Ten seconds after that, mission failed, one hour cooldown.

I'm starting to think I should try a torp boat setup, myself...; the beams I do have aren't doing much, quite likely as I rarely, if ever, have my weapons setting higher than 50(everything is divided between Shields and Aux)...I've never paid much attention to the power requirements for torps...could be worth looking into....
I think the mandatory optionals are what is really killing it still. Even pre-DR, infected elite optionals would occasionally fail because of utter negligence. Honestly, I think the optional escalation should be switched up. For example, the first optional for infected should be the timer, not the sphere repair. Normal's optional should be the timer, with the timer being mandatory for advanced with the sphere repair being optional.
Comments
Mistakenly started upgraded my core beam array so daren't try the space ones until it's finished.
You get bonus marks for completing the optional, but if you fail the optional you fail the mission.
Sane ?

On the topic of the thread:
Borg Disco Advanced is absolutely fine now, I would say that the rest of the queues should be okay.

I'm sure your DPS is great, but as Kahless said, "a petaQ with high system mastery is still a petaQ." (Well, he should have said it...!)
