is the respec broken for the kdf?
i need to re-train my sci cat to use the flying cannon to get the ship trait

    Not that I know of. Check if you're maybe still affected by the mandatory re-train (if you haven't done it on that char) that came with Delta Rising. If you still need to do that one, do it in system space, like in orbit of Qo'noS and not the re-spec officer and it should work.
