missions too hard now?

Hi there, sorry if this is the wrong forum but with the recent release of the new expansion
I struggle at even the easiest fllet defense with my aux2bat JH heavy escort carrier
to do some noticeable contribution.

It seems as the enemy are hitting much harder now / have lots more hitpoints.

Am I missing something? :confused:



*edit: would have been a good idea for me to check whether the space doffs were
where they are supposed to be. Looks like they went on a shore leave while I was having a hiatus.

    Makes sense to me. Difficulty has been scaled up so to match Level 60 characters with Mk IVX equipment.

    You can still do the missions now, but it seems to me that they're tuned so that, if you have Mk IVX equipment, and you get some more practice, you will still find them a "better" challenge than they were previously.

    And let's face it: there's lots of room for these game modes to become more harder and still be fun.

    Are they too hard now? Maybe. May be because we're playing them "undergeared".

    Then again, maybe they're just too hard. I don't have Mk IVX gear, so I don't know how it'll be when I do.

    The new cap increase with the release of DR seems to have affected all missions.

    Space combat in several foundry missions I play now generally takes longer to finish than before.

    If you look at OP's edit from yesterday, you'd see the problem here was that he was using an Aux2Bat build... without technician DOffs. :D

    It's XIV, not IVX.
