Sooo What do we need to keep in inventory

A while back the game started to allow us to use things in bank, and not in inventory. I can't find any information regarding what those ended up being. What should we be keeping in our inventory and what can we move to bank for 'daily use'. Looking at things such as commodities, rep items, etc.

My general rule of thumb is, if it is not hardware, like torpedos, and you can contribute it to a fleet project or rep project, you can put it in the bank.
Also, you can put regenerators that you use to heal your injuries from ground elites, and components you use to fix your ships from space elites in the bank.
I can't think of anything else, if there is, I'm sure some helpful person will chime in here sooner or later.

    Cheers!

What I stick in my bank:

Commodities (when I pick them up or accidentally make too many)

Any weapon/consoles that I don't want to currently equip but want to explore at a later date.

    Tech Upgrades

Minor/Major/Critical Components (they don't need to be in you inventory to use them)

My Gamma Tribble and my Cannibal Tribble and any food I get for tribble carcasses

Large Power Supplies/Batteries/Etc. for when they're needed by fleet

What I keep in my inventory:

All my R&D stays in the R&D inventory tab. Makes it a pain when recycling, but freeing up the space in my bank makes it worth it

    My different hangar pets

    My ev suits

    Loadout weapons

It depends on how you feel like keeping things organized. I'm really OCD about keeping my inventory and bank tidy so I'm constantly in them, selling and recycling. The only one I really ignore is the R&D tab. Hope this helps!

For me In the Inventory I keep

EV suit for myself. I have extra BOFFs and I store extras there.

Nimbus Pirate Distress call. (It doesn't have to be slotted on a ship to use it.)

A Nukara ground set (Pre Rep)

and a few batteries and Jem'hadar nano cells.

and a couple of Non combat pets.

In the bank anything else I want to keep.

Regenerators components, BNPs Injections Comodoties. and anything I consider colectible. Like the Delta Flyer Schematic.

Tech Upgrades I store in the RD tab.

So we can now keep commodities(such as shield gens, medical supplies, etc) in our bank for use on duty officer missions when flying around now? That always took up like 30 inventory slots in my invenotry, so thats a welcome change for sure.

Inventory? Hypos and ground heal kits for those who run out on ground runs. Sometimes happens.

Others get dumped in the bank or vendor trash.

I basically try to keep everything that I am not currently using or is not immediately useful in the bank. Commodities as well. It seems I am becoming a bit of a hoarder so I an grind dilithium to buy more bank slots for all my toons since I am now carrying things in my personally inventory that I would prefer to stick in my bank.

    Things in my inventories include:

    - Account bound items no longer used, but still useful for either a new ship or new toon. Example are Phaser Beam Array Mk XI, Disruptor Beam Array Mk XI, Field Generator Mk X...

    - Weapons and gear that I find useful for the future, but are not bound yet.

    - Useful Weapons and gear meant to be sold on the Exchange, but I may decide to just keep.

    - All useful commodities like Provisions, Shield Generators, Astrometric Probes... usually keep two stacks of them.

    - Ship repair components to repair damage during combat. Useful until DR was released... not able to play Advanced or Elite STFs at this point in time.

    - Elite STF reward items like BNPs, Cybernetic Implants...

    - Cannibal Tribbles along with normal tribbles and food to get tribble carcasses. Great for KDF to turn in for GPL.

    - Event items like unused Lohlunat Favors, Qmmendations, Bird Eggs & Birds (from Risa Summer 2014)... 1 crystal shard I forgot to turn in for dilithium.

    - Lobi Crystals and Master Keys (if any).

    - Lockboxes that potentially have something useful that I want. Mostly kept around if I want to get more Lobi Crystal. Getting something I want like the Plasmonic Leech (Fed toons) or Temporal Science Vessel would be an added bonus.

    - Advanced R&D Boxes... kept them around to be mostly sold on the Exchange, but I opened a few as well for my crafting.

    - Various Doff packs purchased inexpensively from the Exchange... used a few, but most are put back up for a modest gain (50k - 75k ECs). This was an old practice to make some ECs when I first started to play STO. It is a less efficient way to make ECs now...

My toons have 96 bank slots and 96 inventory slots which I got through subbing for one month then cancelling. As stated I am looking to expand my bank slots which I will likely do next time there is a C-Store sale on "Service Items".

    Now?

Its been like that since I started playing pre F2P. In your Doff UI you can see whats in the bank by clicking the Cargobay button.

Considering I've been playing since closed beta 1; and really only logged onto do Season missions. I didn't mean with the latest update; I meant currently able to.
