The Cavalry-Defense at the Gates is still broken...possibly, so I feel the need to ask for specific instructions so I can complete this mission and move on to the rest of the story. Currently there is a Kobali Anak with a glowy orange chevron above it's head. What is this person supposed to do? Are we to interact with it? How? Also there is a constant discussion in game about people "camping" on the bridge being the thing that keeps breaking the instance/mission. True or not? I apologize if I sound like I have a sad. I offer gratitude in advance for any answers.

Yesterday to do this I just looked at the change instance tab for one with virtually nobody in it and jumped to it. Seems everybody else must have done as well since all of a sudden the zone was full as I got there. We did the assault and moved on.

A similar strategy may work for you.

Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

Thank you sir but that did not work. I have seen that suggestion since yesterday and nothing comes of it. Someone wrote this mission. They know what is supposed to happen when you beam in, step around the corner to where the mission activates. Tell us what to do next. The Kobali with the "thing" over its head...is it supposed to say or do something? I see other players talk or try to talk to it but I can't tell if anything happens. Yesterday there was no identifyable person to interact with. Today there is but that person remains mute. I ask for the correct procedure because at this point I cannot tell if I'm doing it wrong or if I should just give up. Admiral "Parkour" out.

You don't actually need to finish that mission to move on with the story. You can rank up to the next level via other fights and continue the story episodes that way. You don't miss much.

Nearly thirty(30) months in the game and I finally have to skip a mission. Oh well. I did notice that I leveled enough to move on, and I have "crushed" my first thousand "cobras", so it's not like I wasted my time there. Thanks for the replies Captains.

Thanks to the team that fixed this mission I have now completed this part of the story. All I'll say at this point is... fascinating.
