So i'm still new-ish and trying to increase my dps especially with DR out now.
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=vandalore1_8319 is my current set up.

I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to up my dps. I know i need the vulnerability exploiters but, my fleet doesn't have access to those yet, so the mag regulators will be getting replaced.

Do you have a particular attachment to that aft torpedo? A second turret might work better.

I'm sure your DPS is great, but as Kahless said, "a petaQ with high system mastery is still a petaQ." (Well, he should have said it...!)

Or they could slot the 360 antiproton array and pair it with the Obelisk warpcore for a 10% damage boost. That would mean dropping the Counter Command warpcore though, and losing the 4pc set bonus.

Overall the build looks pretty solid to me. No glaring issues.

I have recently put the mk xiii vaadwuar cluster torpedo on there instead of the omega torpedo, but that's not showing on sto academy yet.

I agree, lose the torp. Big DPS builds don't have them. Now if you like using them that is different. Sacrifice DPS for the joy of playing. I would still only use one, in the rear also. Fly towards your target and when you fly away for another strafing run the torps could hit your enemy side that you just hit, hopefully strip the shields on the first pass.

If I drop the torp on the front, or move it to the back, should I just put another AP Cannon up front?

I do like the torp, but I think being able to rip through things would work better for pretty much any situation.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Torps are good if you use the Projectiles R&D trait. Since everyone has it, you can try it.

I forget*, what does the trait do? And are the R&D traits ones we have to slot as active, or are they always on?

*by which I of course mean I was at best dimly aware we got a trait at 15 until the kerfuffle with the bug broke out.
