So uh...Ancient Power Cells...where?

I've never had any issues with the other reps in getting them before, now all of a sudden there is no way to get them. Advanced/Elites are an unreliable way source as it depends on queues and then on the team you are lumped with.

I rarely even see the advanced queues with 5 people waiting. The one time I did get into an advance, fifteen seconds in, seven of nine said something and the mission was failed. I still have no idea what happened and he NPC dialog doesn't indicate why or what failed the mission. I got 15 marks for my efforts.

So where are all these Ancient Power Cells? Is it a timezone lottery?

I agree. I am just running into this now. Personally, I do not like to queue up for a team ground event. They need to add more powercells to the Kobali adventure zone or something without queues. The adventure zones make it easier since you don't have to wait on a team. I can jump in and quit if I need to do something else and not hurt the whole team. It is bad enough grinding for tons of skill points for rank/spec points and this just adds to that. I am only level 53 now so I can't do some of those things mentioned anyways. I just want the console, so I guess I will play the reputation box gamble and try to pick up 2. There needs to be other way to get them not just queuing up for an event.

Ancient power cells also come from the reputation boxes. It's a bit of a TRIBBLE-shoot, but I find them about 1 in 6 (or more) boxes.

Heh, I'd forgotten about this thread. Yeah, I was doing the rep boxes - though with the luck I have, it was closer to 1 in 20 if that...but some folks dragged me along on an Elite Bug Hunt, and lol that was that. Logging in on the average day is harder than EBH.

Still missing a reliable means to acquire the APC's? I earned enough to buy the space weapon set, and I've been saving them until I had enough marks to buy the space gear set. Now I'm closing in on the 3000 mark.. uh.. mark, I have 13 APC's out of the 20 needed for all four pieces, and suddenly I can't find a single queue event that lists an APC in the reward. I could have sworn Bug Hunt had them in the past, but it lists nothing now, and I know I haven't earned 28 APC's from the reputation project boxes, so what happened to our ability to earn APC's?

edit: Okay, so Bug Hunt Advanced and Elite still rewards APC's, just doesn't list that in the queue anymore.

they drop in bug hunt elite 2 per run they should drop in advanced ( 1 )

It's quite a mystery IMO.

I did Borg Disconnected (advanced) a dozend times and even Bug Hunt (advanced), which i won't do again and didn't receive even one single APC.
I can't remember how often i was killing stuff in the Kobali "adventure" zone too and not receiving any APC.

The only two APC i ever got was from some Episode and one from a Delta reputation box.

Last time I did one bug hunt was a week ago, as far as I know it did drop an APC, and all previous bug hunt queues dropped one as well.

I didn't get any for completing tier V rep. This is the only Rep grind that didn't reward a handful of rep items for completion.

This is very disappointing. PWE completely dropped the ball.

Overall, I think the rewards in Delta have all but vanished in lieu of paying for them.

APC comes from Bug Hunt, Borg Disconnected and Battle of Korfez (not 100% sure for that one). 1 for Advance and 2 for Elite. Additionally you can get APC as random reward from boxes which you get after starting rep project.
