Yeah, that pretty much says what's on my mind. Ever since they announced and hyped the tribble out of it. I will say this, I WAS excited about this latest expansion. I logged on, stared at the progress bar for the update. Stared even longer at the red indicator light waiting for it to go green, to indicate that the server is back up and running. Logged on, and... just lost steam right from the get go.
Sorry, not trying to down Cryptic or even the game. But let's face it. Who wants to grind out the next level just so they can keep going with the story line? I sure don't. I quit playing Chinese produced MMOs just for that reason. I won't even beta test them if that tells you just how bad they are. Ok, yeah, I could put something into the suggestions forum, but why bother? I think Cryptic can see the displeasure that everyone else is feeling as well.
Ok, yeah, I'm complaining. But guess what? So are hundreds of other players. Ok, I understand that there's going to be bugs on release day. But in all the years I have been playing this, I haven't seen the game this badly bugged. Well, wake me up when Cryptic gets around to actually fixing what they released to us. Which, is as broke as a hobo in Vegas.
Playing the storyline, of all things, is not grinding. The storyline elements are good and I'm enjoying flying the Guardian.
I think they need to adjust the queue difficulties so there is some hope of completion before level 60 (or no-one will bother after a while), and some of the other elements are uninspired - doff missions in the Delta Quadrant and the horrible Intel ships.

So I am confused what exactly is your Issue? I am getting a "Where is my I win End Game", just for being here "vibe." Is that the just of your complaint?

I think his problem is the "I can't bumrush/faceroll my way to endgame" vibe.
Poor you. Here, let me play you a sad tune on the galaxy's smallest trombone.

You could just do what I do... go with the story line, and level up as a result.
But you know, to each their own...
I would, but my A.D.D. medication tends to wear off whenever I try to grind in any game.
