Hair animation (or the lack there-of)

I mentioned this in the Tribble female model changes thread and I was wondering if it would be possible sometime to get a set of hair animations? Sure it's nothing major or game breaking but it would be amazing to have hair fly around where appropriate.

    The rock-solid ponytails bother me. I've actually had hair that long, I know how it moves.

    Yeah, my Andorian's ponytail is annoyingly static. Almost as if he used some super-space stiffening product on it.

    Hair gel/spray tech is very advanced in 2409.

    lol or maybe it's in temporal stasis or something else :P

    Jokes aside though, it is really unnatural and somewhat immersion breaking to have no hair animation.

    Not sure we even really need animations, seeing as how the game has native PhysX support.
    Even the most basic hair physics would be such an improvement from frozen ponytails. :eek:

    Considering the existing strain on the server I would suggest it's probably better for playability to use animations that can be stored and run locally rather than adding to the number of things the server has to do.
