Apparently, adding in the Gear Upgrade Weekend content doesn't qualify for patch notes?? IMO, ANY changes loaded during maintenance should be posted, if only to combat the mistrust Cryptic caused themselves with other "stealth" updates...

Now a LTS and loving it.

As i said earlier i didn't expect a patch with only a few days left until DR, but i had hoped that the Type 3 Phaser Rifle would be added to the upgradable weapons.
I guess i have to be patient for now.

Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

From then, everytime you launch the game it should check that you already patched the pre DR, and it should engage automatically WITHOUT patching anything. If any patch at all is happening, even if you already patched those 3gb, something is wrong with the patcher. You should do a verify to see if all the files are ok.

It's not patching those 3gb every time as Taco explained in the post I linked. It checks those 3gb every single time but it doesn't download the whole thing. If they added any additional files to the prepatch since the last time it checked, then those few files are downloaded.

I know. But thats not the issue the other guy was writting. He said that the patcher patchs for a few seconds EVERY TIME. That is a patcher issue. No patch should be made if you already patched whats need to be patched. My launcher is not patching anything since the 3gb patch. It will just engage without wasting time.

I don't know anything about a pre patch as i'm on everyday so likely missed it but i have just had a random crash to desktop with the cryptic error thing.
Logged in 40 minutes ago and started my usual check of all Characters and fleet projects, on 5th character (KDF) i went to click on fleet icon and it crashed on me, i've since spent 10 minutes trying to get back onto the launcher, which is now verifying my files for me, however it took many attempts to get the launcher up and each time it asked me to log in, this is unusual as i launch via the arc client all the time and it's always auto logged me in.

But it did, wether i look on the data usage on my pc or the data usage on with my internet provider it used every bit of 30gb in a couple days.
