Ok, so the Gorn NPC's can throw rocks. Captain S'slee of the G.C.S. Gress'sril threw a rock at Kirk. So how about adding a ground trait for throwing rocks, kind of like how we can bite with the appropriate trait selected? The animation is already there, after all, and this would be totally awesome.
And yes, I'd buy it in the C-store if I had to, as long as it was reasonably priced.
Yes I would support that as well. Just like would support more action be taken over the Epohh threat. Even if that means we can throw rocks at them. Epohh King is probably laughing at us all... laughing...
1) just because the animation is there for NPCs doesn't mean it's there for players, with our wide range of heights, leg, arm and torso lengths, shoulder widths, etc. It could be fine for some, but it could be terrible for anyone with a shorter, more slender Gorn or one bulked out to the max.
2) I know it's 'canon' and the NPCs do it, but in the canon episode the Captain S'slee was only throwing rocks because he'd been deprived of his disruptor, mortar, whatever they used to blow up Spocks tricorder, and other gadgets that a technologically advanced species would normally use to crush a puny Human. And the in-game NPCs are, frankly, an embarrassment to the species.
You have a wide range of energy weapons, swords, grenades, bombs, mines, turrets, sciencey gadgets and/or a spaceship in orbit with a tac officer's finger hovering over a button marked "smite." Use them, and be happy.
...Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you / Oh, I can hear it callin 'me / I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?...

How about Gorn ability to throw players\npcs !
Or !
Rip off head and spine like Predator !
Now that, I could get behind. The latter option is probably too gory for an obstensibly 'T'-rated game though.

But, on a more serious note...this actually would not be useless. I frequently nom people, because not only are they tasty, but it's a great, quick exploit with a dot to go along with it. A ranged expose attack via rock-throwing would be awesome.
Also...should one not use all the tools at one's disposal in a fight for one's life?

The Gorn are very adept at throwing rocks. There's no one better in the galaxy. It's like their national sport.
