Mission Defense Contract
Alhena Refueling Station (Deuterium)

Aren't you suppose to get 4-5 tanks of Deuterium as the award if none of the 3x Deuterium Tanks get badly damage or even go KABOOM!.

Is there a bonus 1 making it 5x tanks of Deuterium if all 3x tanks are in 75-100% in health. But of course there is always one tank being damage by 53% prior to starting the mission.


480 Dilithum
3x Tank of Deuterium Beam-up
1x Bonus Tank of Deuterium

Is there a 5th tank?

    4 feels right. If there is a bonus tank it likely has to do with combined tank hp, but I think the surviving tanks are it.

    You can intercept the far Galor early if you go straight for it, all you need to do is draw the aggro then break off for the Hidekis.

    Use your healing powers (ET, HE) to heal the tanks.

    Or just blow the living **** out of them before they get in range of the tanks :P

    Not as I recall.

    Four tanks, one for each silo and a single bonus, is the reward I remember.

    Although, a little trick to get into position quicker is to ignore the hail from the Ferengi until you are sitting where you want.

    IIRC, the raiders warp in after the dialog, so avoiding the dialog puts it off.

    Might help with your weakened tank issue.

    It has always been 4. You don't even need to ignore the dialog, you can just evasive or full impulse directly to the right side to engage that enemy.

    Thanks for the heads-up in tips. I was sure I got 5 tanks once when I had started. Now it's 3 - 4 tanks unless they changed the mission. These tanks help boost your systems for a short period of time but helps to get out of the 8472 goody goo (aka yellow jello or bubbles)

    As above its always been 4 tanks for the mission, 1 for each tank and 1 for a mission reward. There is a way to get the mission reward one twice which I won't go into too much detail in venue other than to say its possible to pull 5 out of one run of the map (although its not exactly the optimal route if you're trying to farm the stuff).

    More importantly I wish that they'd fix the bug with data cores not dropping which has been broke since Legacy of Romulus arrived and was categorically stated by Borticus as being a bug and not a "stealth removal" of content as was suggested in the relevant thread through the loss of the associated mission that was unlocked with ever 10 data cores.

    I find it curious that said bug showed up when Cryptic was removing dailies (b'tran exploration) and revamping foundry rewards yet again. Its even more curious it has not been fixed since May 2013.

    Do your math please.

    No I was traveling in ETA sector and found this station. But I thought there was a bonus when you manage to save all the tanks from damage. It show a picture of the tank with 480 dil. Anyway that was a few months ago. So now it's 4 tanks you get if you do a good job. I sure some patches changed the mission. When I had first played it I got 720 or 960 dil. After the patches it had was 480 dil. I only go to this fuel station once in a while I have enough tanks to last me. Since the max is 5 in your inventory and 5 on your devices.

    I more or less do this mission on a regular basis because it is quick and easy and my KDF toons are in ETA a lot so doing this mission and the satellite repair mission is a decent way to earn 960 dil in about 10 minutes.

    I have always received 4 deuterium tanks. Many times I don't even bother to collect them since I don't use 'em much.
