Shard of Possibility clones

I was running my Fed-allied Romulan Tactical captain in the Nukara Prime adventure zone recently, and noted something that seemed a bit "off".

She was wearing one of the Solanae EV suits, but when she used the Shard of Possibilities to summon clones of herself, they showed up wearing the Federation Combat EV suit. It's not totally crazy (she's allied Fed after all), but I would have expected either the same Solanae suit she was actually wearing, or at least the Romulan Combat EV suit. The Security troops she summons wear Romulan Combat EV suits.

For that matter, I've noticed on normal maps, the "quantum shadow" clones are missing the shoulder drapes my characters wear.

They've always lacked any resemblance to you except your costume. It doesn't matter what weapon you use they have their own weapon choice.

double check to see if they use phaser rifles.

Right. My point is they don't resemble my costume.

Thing is, EV suits aren't your costume, they're your armor, which is done differently. Until EV suits end up in the costume tailor like the other armors has (which is quite unlikely, but you never know), the clones won't use the same one as you.

    Gear visuals =/= costume

On a side note, its nice that cryptic actually added the EV check, so they don't just stand and die on hazard maps. In terms of what EV they use, it was either the faction specific combat EV, or the "standard" suits we see everywhere (I think most would agree that they made the right choice there)

Can't really comment on the drapes though. Its possible that they just don't do a check for that costume peice, especially seeing how they're relatively new, and not used when the Shards were made.

Actually, that wasn't there at first. When the Nukara zone first launched (or maybe it was just on Tribble), your Security Escorts would beam in without suits, and immediately burst into flames.

That shard when use calls up your other selves from other universes that appear. Sure they do wear different EV suites as do the Security I, II, III do depending on your faction.

    Time will only tell!

Good point, I had overlooked that bit. So by that logic, the clones should really be using Romulan generic suits, not Federation generic suits.

The issue is (based on my observations) is that there is *NO* Romulan Quantum Shard clones, only SF and KDF. Observe them across multiple toons; they only use phaser or disruptor rifles, only use SF or KDF EV suits, and when they leave, they "beam" away with the blue SF or red KDF transporter effects.

    This. They're not clones.
You're right. The work here is very important.
