add a trait to the R&D specialist so there more visable

I got a white shield specials today and noticed his name in the list of doffs i could donate to the starbase (practical tactical exercises III) without any indication he was anything special.
Can all R&D specialist be given a new trait lets say researcher for example and a small computer as symbol so i spot them without having to remember the names of my R&D specialists?

    It would also be nice for the R&D specialists to have something we can search for in the exchange. As it stands now you have to select every posted duty officer to find ones with the R&D specialization.

    As the op poster stated a little symbol in their traits would work nicely, plus if you ever add more specializations to duty officers then you already have a slot for it. If possible maybe put it mid way between the officer name and the traits so it is easy to spot, ie blank for no specialization, computer for R&D. Actually since each officer already has a school image in their R&D specialization, just have that image displayed with their traits as well.

    For finding the R&D doffs you have, I have noticed they are always at the top of the roster for each section. So if you have any in Tactical, they will be at the top of the Tactical roster. As for finding them on the exchange, you probably need to search for the list of R&D doff names and search the exchange by name.

    Honestly, I hate the whole "R&D Specialist" thing to begin with. I had no idea this was a thing until I got ground weapons to level 15 and found I couldn't make that TR-116b I'd been antsy to get my hands on. The documentation for this aspect is just really lousy.

    For the last five weeks, I have bought one 10 pack of keys each week from the C-store.
    I have used them all to open Xindi boxes.

    Amazingly, as of Friday I have acquired seven of the eight available Purple (VR) Xindi DOffs.

    It's a shame that none of my R&D skills are above Level 11 yet.
