Shuttle-U

Can we get an upgrade to the shuttles? What I'd like to see from a shuttle upgrade is an upgrade to BOffs.

Add a uni/intel Lt slot to all shuttle craft.

It feels like to me that there are too many abilities unusable by shuttles due to only allowing ensign positions. And with the adding of intel officers it would be geeat to have them available for the small craft.

    That would make many of the shuttles better than Mirandas. How would a shuttle be more powerful than something 4-5 times its size and mass? :confused:

    Simple look at the defiant class and a freighter. The freighter is 3 times bigger then the defiant class :cool:

    Well since you need to be a 50 to "U" your ship should it be measured against a T1?

    This seems like a solid idea to me.

    As to it becoming more powerful than a Miranda thats not really a big deal. You just put it down to the superior technology of a t5-u to a tier 1 relic. I mean just look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvkBHohRiJ4. That shuttle shrugged off a beating from a Negh'Var.

    And most of the space in a Freighter is used for storage while most of the space in the Defiant is used for combat systems. In order for a Shuttle to be more powerful than a Miranda, it would have to be the size of a Runabout or slightly bigger and have absolutely no room for anything, but one seat for the pilot where they will be stuck until they exit the shuttle.

    so another super shuttle for feds, while klingons will be poor relatives ? long time dream of all klingons is to have at least eqvivalents of delta (100% seller for all klingon players) and yellowstone (not so very needed).

    I have been lobbying for more KDF shuttles for a long time....
