A small issue with the Delta Rising galaxy map.

I was on Tribble the other day, and I noticed something strange. The Rator System is now under Federation control or claim. I don't remember in "pre-emptive strike" that the Feds invaded the RSE capital, as a pre-emptive strike was all it was. Am I mistaken, or am I missing some information?

    I think Rator was in Fed territory for a while, and it's been brought up a few times. Nothing's been done about it, though.

    Something should be done about it, because for Romulans, especially for Imperial RPers, it's a b.f.d., even more since the galaxy map is fairly permanent. I never saw any lore in STO saying that the Federation has completely routed the Galae from the Rator System.

    Looks like they might be using an old map build for Tribble. Rator was mistakenly switched with the Chulan System during early development of the game. (You can see the mistake here at the STO Wiki: http://sto.gamepedia.com/File:Psi_Velorum_Sector_Block.pngThankfully our old Community Manager Branflakes worked it so when we reported it got corrected.

    It took some effort to do, so I hope the powers that be are listening, so that the Romulan capitol doesn't once again reside in Federation space.

    Well by Delta Rising Sela is gone and the Tal Shiar is leaderless and fragmented. So it's not surprising that Rator III would probably no longer be concidered a capital world. What are they the capitol of? The Empire has fallen, the Emperess has been kidnapped, and the Tal Shiar isn't there to add any kind of support.

    So at the very least it should be a member of the Romulan Republic by Delta Rising and not concidered a capital world.

    Most likely, concidering how the Federation in STO works though, after the disappearance of Sela and the defeat of the Tal Shiar, the Federation probably went into Rator III, in force, in order to pacify Rator III and remove any elements that would be destabilizing the Republic. What or who would stop them.

    Rator III definatly wouldn't want the Klingons to be there, the Republic isn't really strong enough to pacify Rator III, that leaves the busy-body Federation.

    Leaving Rator III alone would be just as silly for the Republic and the Federation. They'd be begging for the Iconians to re-establish a foothold on Rator III.

    True. But I was more or less making a case when you said that it's a B.F.D. for RPers.

    Basically it's a simply, RP around it. You have no idea what's going on, by your own discription. As far as you or anyone knows the reason it's in Federation Space was that it was annexed by the Federation. Wouldn't be the first time the Federation did that. Heck it might simply be in Federation space because they've got a blockade on Rator III in case Sela or the Tal Shiar comes back.

    Be creative, think of reasons why it may be that way, and RP it. Heck make it a B.F.D In Character where your Imperial wants to liberate it from the Federation occupiers and overseers.

    OOC it's not that B.F.D if you just get creative with it.

    Yeah. The current map on Tribble is the one i speak of. :P
