I have to ask again and again about the KDF default bridge not having a standard view screen, but if it is so hard to correct this problem then just make a new default bridge for KDF ships and add a second default that is more appropriate for the larger cruisers.
The bridge you're talking about is designed to be like that on purpose, since it's suposed to be a replica of a Bird of Prey bridge that didn't have a viewscreen, but the Captain used a periscope thingy instead.
There are several other free bridges on the KDF side that are similar in size and layout and have viewscreens and there is also one free bridge that is bigger and more apropriate for cruisers - in fact it's based on the bridges in the KDF C-Store cruiser bridge pack.

...that would be the one from Star Trek V....which HAD a viewscreen as this series of screenshots very clearly shows:
Besides the layout of the Kirom Bridge makes it a lot more like the one from Star Trek III.
That one had most of the crew in front of and below the captain and only two stations behind him. The one from Star Trek V had ALL the crew behind the captain.
Either way my guess is the reason why the Kirom bridge has a viewscreen that is offline (it's still there just dark) is because it's the same bridge as the one from the disabled Raptor in "Past Imperfect"....where it actually makes sense for the scrren to be offline given the ship is pretty much dead.

Absolutely. I've been asking Cryptic to put a combined bridge pack with 1 Orion, 1 Gorn and 1 Nausicaan bridge since.....forever.
+1 agreement!
