With the advent of T6 ships is it possible we shall see a fleet oddysey that will be T6?

It is possible, but I think we are some time away from having access to T6 Fleet ships. Getting them is probably going to be behind some type of grind-wall: Delta Quadrant Embassy, Fleet T6 upgrade, or something similar; and that is going to take time.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Fair point.

And I'm pretty sure all the nice new T6 ships, intel or otherwise, will get their fleet makeovers at that time.

However, OP does make a fair point regarding the apparent flagship of Star Fleet.

I think a fleet T6 version of the Oddy (just one, no T6 for each variant) is not a bad idea.

    Same for the Bortas.

Logically we should say the same for the Scimitar, but that gives me pause as its pretty OP as it is.

I feel that all the existing ships will probably gain access to a T6 Fleet version over time. I just do not see it happening quickly. First will be Fleet versions of T6 ships like the Guardian. Then they will slowly release some T5 ships like the Odyssey and other Flagships. Then, eventually, every ship which currently has a T5 Fleet version will also get a T6 Fleet version upgrade. It is all about the Benjamins. :)

Well, up to me, I would add the Oddy and the Bortas to that first wave of fleet T6 ships.

Just because they are the flagships, no other reason.

It would seem very odd if you could get a fleet T6 Galaxy before you could get a fleet T6 Oddy.

It is doubtful that there will ever be a Fleet version of the Odyssey seeing how they are on par with lockbox ships with 10 consoles. Of course, the Odyssey Star Cruiser could be considered as a Fleet version of the Odyssey since that is the only method to get it at the moment.

Given that a couple of ships are 10-console out of the box and 5u up to 11-console without becoming Fleet, it'd make sense to Fleet them up to full T6 eventually. Odyssey, Vesta, Kumari, Bortasqu, and (yes even) Scimitar.

As I said in another thread, we do not really know what a Fleet T6 will look like. While it is possible they could add an 11th Console it is also equally possible that a T6.5 could have another Boff ability, or another Specialist Boff seat, or more passive Traits, or even more Ship Traits slots - or any combination of the above plus a dozen other things I did not mention. Fleet T6s do not need to duplicate what we saw with Fleet T5s - especially since the new level cap adds so many new bonus features.

Those aren't bad ideas in general, but they are bad ideas now. Intelligence abilities simply do not work [thematically] on any of these high-profile command ships.

When the next set of specialists boffs come out (flag/fleet officer perhaps), then we can have a more serious discussion on just what a T6 flagship should be. For now, T5-U is the most appropriate place for them.

But we're only talking about the future.

There are no fleet T6 ships available now, and we're told they wont be available with DR launch.

Assuredly they'll come, and all I'm saying is slip the flagships in there with the first wave of fleet T6s.
