1000 day veteran ships and T6

i may have missed it when i was reading through the T6 ship info...but are the 1k day veteran ships going to auto upgrade to t6 or is cryptic giving us the middle finger and making us pay to upgrade those as well as all the other ships, or are they going to release a t6 1k or 2k day veteran ship?

Vet ships and their fleet variants are getting free T5-U upgrades, not T6.

not only are they free, they get a 5th tac console:D

So what did you expect? The Vet ships were created before the existence of the T6 ships, so that can't be retro-active T6 after the facts...

And T5u ships are nothing to laugh at, as the Fleet Vet version is a 11 Console ship, while all the announced T6 ships (so far...) are just 10 Console ships...

Why should we get a free T6 ship? The Vet ships were nice but they weren't the best of the best...why should we suddenly get the top of the line best now?
