Hmm, a little digging around there and it appears that not only do they have Nimoy voicing one of the computers, but they have a complete Vulcan voice pack, so they must have negotiated some limited access to some Star Trek IP, at least to Vulcans.
Also, they appear to be partnering with Star Citizen in sharing these voice packs. Star Trek IP in both Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, even limited to merely Vulcans as it appears to be now, is a very surprising development, and makes you wonder if it is just a foot in the door to acquire more to come.
Edit -- Okay, apparently these voice packs are third-party add-ons to the games so who knows if they actually paid CBS or not. I doubt Nimoy would be involved if it didn't clear the lawyers though.
