T-5 U upgrade is " broken "

Greetings
Before I get started , this bug is known about , the dev's are working on it , leave off jogging their arms as their working to fix this.
Right now the T-5U upgrade is on tribble for T-5 c-store and fleet ships , and it has a bug.
It eats things, mostly consoles , fleet , ship special, ship bundle, lock box , and sometimes weapons.
I have found a work around for this .
Pick the ship you want to upgrade.
Get the upgrade "thingy"[ as good a name as any other]
Go to the ship selector
Now This Is The Important Part , Strip the Ship till it's EMPTY.
I mean All Of IT
Only when the ship is bare metal is it safe to upgrade.
Click the button , replace the parts, ready star ship , and enjoy.
So far this has worked for me on tribble , every time I haven't stripped out the ship I lost bits off the one I was working on, but others off the stack as well . When I right clicked on the missing console , there was still an image of it on the ship, it crashed to desktop.
When going from T-5 c-store ship to T-5U , strip , dismiss , reclaim , leave it as is , upgrade, replace parts, and go.
A fleet hull that is not a variant of a c-store ship with a special console , strip , upgrade rebuild , go
A fleet ship that is a variant of a c-store ship that has a special console, or bundle of consoles , is the ships that right now have the most to loose.
Again , they are working on this ,finding something that works is helpful , nerd rage is only good for roasting sausages , and raising your blood pressure , to much of either is bad for your health.
