any high-level 'canon' klingon ground weapons?

In the KDF tutorial and the first few missions one can obtain ground weapons that *actually* look like canon KDF weapons from the TV/movies.

You know, like this:

So, my question to everyone is; are there any fleet or other end-game weapons available that are like these? Advanced fleet dual pistols and compression pistols are those nasty fish-looking things with two wings projecting out the front. Definitively NOT Klingon.

Any help please? Thanks in advance.

Aside from the TOS disruptor which is a mission reward and comes in blue mk XI there is not a single canon ground weapon at endgame (just as there are literally no canon costumes as well) - although I don't know the elite fleet disruptors.

The closest you get are the regular bat'leths. They are way too oversized (as are all guns in-game. Somebody had issues? ;) ) but look relatively close to the on-screen props otherwise.

^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

Or if you're tact, you can run an all kit melee setup with lunge and sweeping strikes.

I think punching and kicking is pretty canon. >_> Use your weapons as stat sticks!

On a more serious opinion, I always kinda liked elite fleet disruptor sniper. It looks pretty klingony canon. At least to me.

Yeah what happens a lot is they have these canon things just for a cinematic but when it comes to the game they aren't going to put the time into making them available to players.

Thanks for everyone's replies. Based on the feedback, I've been looking at the Elite Fleet Disruptors.

It seems to me the one that looks the "closest" is the High Density Beam Rifle.

Of course, right after I purchased the weapons I noticed the NPC door guards on the Starbase have *exactly* the canon-accurate weapons I was looking for ... but can't get! lol

    Ah, Cryptic.

    Thanks, everyone.

Yeah, endgame canon KDF ground weapons? Only the TOS Mk XI Rare Disruptor Pistol reward.

More weapons would at least look the part of a later development of Klingon weapons. If they didn't have the stupid design of blades sticking out of all kinds of rifles, pistols, etc for the sake of having blades randomly being placed. The weapons would look great as "future" Klingon weapons if it weren't for the stupid blades. Looking across all the Star Trek TV series and movies where Klingons were shown with non-melee weapons, not one of them had stupid blades stuck onto them. From TOS and all the way into even the last movies.

Some of the endgame disruptor pistols for example look stupid. The look of the pistol would be a great future weapon but it has these blades as big as the pistol itself stuck on BOTH sides of the pistol. It just looks so ridiculous when its holstered.

    Stupid.

    So STUPID.

a word of warning, If buying a set of Duel Elite Fleet Disruptor pistols, I hope you know that the model used is actually duel Sniper rifles, ( Which can look cool if you have then on a gorn or other large alien that could duel wield a long weapon )

I do not own the single pistol so not sure what that looks like

The rifles on the other hand look very nice

i think this is the only TOS style KDF hand weapon http://sto.gamepedia.com/Klingon_Disruptor_Pistol

with the upgrade system in DR it may be upgradeable both in rarety and tier...though i think that rerunning the mission at lvl 60 should give you a MK XIV version.

If only it were that easy.

With the early release of the upgrade system the Klingon Disruptor Pistol is not yet included in the items to be upgradable.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
