STO has the most primitive ingamemailsystem of all MMOS i know so far! please add bulk-deleting and a quota info to the ingame mailbox, so that we can delete multiple mails by checkboxes without clicking every single mail. and to see how much space is left would be very nice. AND/OR give us the possibility to opt out of automated exchangemails like "item selled on the exchange" which is maybe the most send systemmail the game produces.

imo the mail system should at least cover some of the basics covered 10 years ago by netscape communicator and outlook express
show me which mails i replied to. keep sent mail. an real address book. an attachment viewer. 'spam' filters. you know... real basic stuff.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
I loved the system we had in the past where we could view our in game mails on the website, and mass delete or report spam, or reply etc.
It was so easy I'd love to see that back. If we had that, I could handle not having those types of controls in game.
Yes, I'm that Askray@Batbayer in game. Yes, I still play. No, I don't care. Former Community Moderator, Former SSR DJ, Now Full time father to two kids, Husband, Retail Worker. Tiktok: @Askray Facebook: Askray113

I used to check mail at work during my lunch break to see if items had sold. One of my fleet's co-leaders used to do fleet management from work when he had some spare time.
Also the old out-of-game mail didn't have the idiotic character limit that the in-game mail messages have. When the out-of-game mail access was removed we were no longer able to fit all of the content of our fleet announcements and updates into a single message, and because the in-game mail doesn't allow more than 1 fleet mail per day (another idiotic limitation) our fleet updates have long-since ground to a halt.
