A quick thought about STO and the trinity of MMOs

I think this game is more similar to a Hack & Slash RPG than an MMORPG, more Diablo than WoW. with Eng/cruiser as Tank, Sci/sci as Healer, and Tac/escort as DPS Sci/escort, Tac/sci pairs make no sense, but in the game they could be made to work.
