Mirror Universe Ships

So when Delta Rising goes live what should we do with these ships? Only use them as a grind from level 40-50?

Will Cryptic decide to allow thse ships to be upgraded at a later date?

I'm wondering what do to with these as they did make a decent high end ship

Word was MU ships won't be upgradable.

Kinda sucks since many other lockbox ships are upgradable.

They are already behind the curve for lvl50 ships. You can feel it in every way. Weaker hulls, weaker console settup. Past lvl50, with the OMGWTHBBQZOR!!!11!!!one!!!111! uber ships, they will be even more outclassed. That said, you should be able to keep using them against most of the storyline content. You simply may feel they are less and less capable of taking damage or countering nonsensical NPC magic (I'm sorry, "abilities").

In short, NO, they won't add upgrades to them. And, YES, you can still fly them, BUT you will probably feel a very strong desire to move past them very quickly.

ya i guess those few characters i have can go to tier 6 ships i suppose. Guess they will be good for grinding level 40-50 and not much else.

Lvl 40 and T5 are different things even tho they're shared at some point. That freebie Dyson destroyer is lvl 40 but upgradable, so is the Patrol escort. My MUPE isn't.

Guess it's so kick butt it doesn't need the upgrade.
