How do I start doing the omega missions so I can start getting the very/ultra rare items not listed on the exchange?

I'm a RA upper half fed TAC.

    Level 50 rep system and buy from fleet stores for ultra rare
    Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

    To start the omega missions, visit the transwarp conduit in the risa sector of Sirius Sector Block. When you get close enough it will have a number of options, including "join task group omega". Click that, and find the ship you are told to find.

    Borg Gear: You participate in queued missions starting at lvl 44 for omega marks, and borg neural processors. You use the marks to level your reputation, and gain access to purchase items along the way. (Borg sets, consumables, ect)



    Ultra Rare Items come from a number of sources

    Shields: Elite and Advanced Fleet+Aegis set from crafting
    Weapons: Normal weapon types from fleet, omni-directional beam array and wide arc dual heavy cannons from crafting
    Ground Weps: Normal types from fleet, TR-116 from crafting
    Deflectors: Fleet and Crafting
    Science: Normal consoles from fleet, particle exciter from crafting
    Engineering: normal consoles, engines,ground armor from fleet, conductive RCS from crafting

    You need Omega marks that you get doing Borg queue stf missions, Defera invasion zone, sector Red Alerts etc. Use those marks to complete the Omega reputation.

    right forgot you could get marks from Borg Red Alerts and the Defera Invasion Zone
