New Universal Consoles (Cross Factional)?

This might be a stupid question but basically I only play Fed and I was wondering if I purchase the pack could I take the KDF and/Rommie consoles and use them let's say on...a Fed Science Odyssey?

Or would KDF universal console only be used on KDF ships, etc. Anyone, have any experience with the current universals? Thanks for any constructive replies.

No, those consoles from C-Store ships are bound to that ship only or to other ships from same faction. Your only chance is that they introduce those consoles in lockbox packs but it is unlikely they will do that with ships that are new.

Figured and thanks. Looks like I won't be getting the pack. Wish they would introduce like a faction specific pack for a little less money. Then I'd buy the "Fed" pack as it were.

This game needs more diversity.

It does not need to be more homogeneous to the point where all factions are in actually just the Federation wearing different uniforms and fighting each other.

No problem. With Legacy of Romulus expansion, they introduced Rom Starter pack too so there maybe is a chance they think of faction specific pack, although that is only a speculation.

If each T6 ship is 3000z then buying all 4 would cost $120 anyway.

Do not buy the pack now anyway. Best bet is to wait until after stats on the ships are released and you can tell if you even want them. Then its your money do what you want.
