tactical console loadout question for an escort

lyran2lyran2 Member Posts: 0 Arc User
Hey guys,

I've been rethinking my current console loadout lately. As of now, in my patrol escort, I've got 2 Mk XI Antiproton Mag Regulator consoles, 1 Mk XI Cannon console and 1 Mk Xi Quatum torpedo console. Please forgive me if I didn't put the exact models, I'm doing this from memory.

Anyway, I'm wondering if I should replace the canon console with another antiproton mag regulator. I had originally thought that by having and energy type, weapon type and torpedo type that I'd have my basses covered. However, now I'm wondering if I'll do more damage if I replace the canon console with a 3rd energy console.

Thoughts?

yes you should dmg type is higher and covers all weapon types the use that dmg. except plasma project and energy weapon are different energy types.

in less they do something strange with numbers I don't know about.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

Should always focused all tactical consoles on a specific energy type to achieve the maximum amount of damage
    There is no diminishing returns.

You fire a torp on average 1 every 8 seconds without considering pwos or hy/ts.

Keep them a energy and always specific for best results.

    Cheers

Yes. Overall the Cannon Console does not add as much as another Mag Regulator.

Of course, if you PVP, this advice will make you more vulnerable to feedback pulse builds, which are becoming quite common these days in response to the sheer number of people focusing on energy weapon damage.
