Demorecord Question (Please Help)

I have been trying to figure this out for a week now, and have gone to many different sites with no success.

I can get in and access the demo file created using demorecord but, during the playback, does anyone know how to get rid of the user interface at the top?

I know there is a way to "render" the video out to a bunch of image files, but its much less of a pain to simply be able to record what you need with FRAPS or something like that.

If anyone knows how to turn off the UI completely, I would greatly appreciate it. And I'm sure there are others out there that would like to know the answer as well.

It's a fossil, but as far as I know the basic functions remain the same.

Yeah, i know its an old topic. I have been through that entire thread and haven't found what I'm looking for. I will admit that I'm still new to video editing, but my fleet does want to do some machinima with the origin story, and I'm just trying to find the best way to do that.

I managed to put this together without too much trouble, but I would love to be able to do more with different camera angles. I had just hoped there was an easier way to do it rather than the options that I have right now.

Might anyone else be able to offer any info regarding hiding the UI? Or is this simply a lost cause?
