With an extra Boff power and whathever the intelligence officer does a T6 ship will become the new standard making any other ships irrelevant. You can still use yout T5U ships but will be at a severe disadvantage and as we all know in pvp any "small" difference increases exponencially.

based upon what they said already, it sure as hell doesn't make sense to pay to be inferior. That is a ridiculous joke.

I would rather pay for my b'rel to be a complete T6, unless they have a T6 b'rel already lined up, then I'll buy it, but they had better really buff it because even in the current ship lineup, it is obsolete. If it is obsolete now, then paying to upgrade and still be inferior and obsolete is ridiculous.

The problem is.. no matter what you buy today, cryptic will release something better in a couple months... it's call power creep to get you to keep buying and buying and buying.

These developers and publishers need to be under stricter federal law.

Also consider that the first round of T6 Vs T5U won't even be a fair comparison.

We MAY look at the new skills and agree with geko that his teammates have been wasting there time and may as well be doing something else. We may concur with the Geko that all that work they put in for the bells and whistles was for not... its simply not needed to play STO.

Of course the first round of post Delta power creep is going to include new Duty Officers to enhance those new skills. lmao

It may well be that up to 6months after Delta launches people will feel all happy with there Upgraded Fleet Ship Triple Dippers. Right up until the next TRIBBLE (subsequentTechDoff) gets released for some silly new T6 only boff skill with a 15s cool down.

I must admit if my Wells/Talvath is an outdated ship I shall uninstall STO right away. I play this game for the purpose of those ships and my characters which I customized a lot. I do not care about which other ships Cryptic has intention to release, I shall not buy them because they are not Wells/Talvath.
