Chel Grett cruise commands?

Shouldn't the breen chel grett get cruiser commands? is got the makings of a cruiser, size weapon layout hull etc,?
[Combat (Self)] Your Bite deals 2378 (1475) Physical Damage(Critical) to Spawnmother.

    It's apparently counted as a Destroyer, not a Cruiser.

    idk.. its kinda a hybrid ship part crusier part escort.

    No, because its a destroyer, not a cruiser. It outturns just about all cruisers and battlecruisers. Also its layout is tactical-focused. Its nothing like a cruiser IMO.

    I always thought it was a battle cruiser, comparable to the KDF ones,

    Like Comand Eng normally conjours cruiser, Suppose the liuet comander tctical pushes it to a destroyer category..

    Both of the currently-playable "Warship" ships have the same setup though, which are different from other "Destroyer" ships, I'm not sure why they don't just make Warship an official ship type somehow.

    Cruisers are engineering oriented. Chel Grett is not engineering oriented in any way. It is Tac-heavy with secondary emphasis on Science and very weak engineering. Its an oversized sciscort with an 8th weapon hard-point and reduced turn-rate.

    If you give me awhile I'll go find the dev post about it being a Destroyer; I had the same question when Cruiser Commands went live, and wondered yet again when in the following Winter Event Q was calling it a "Breen Cruiser" again, no matter what the silly mortal devs had said about it... [EDIT] Ah, here you go...

    Yes, Q promised you a "Breen Cruiser"... no, Q did not give you a "Breen Cruiser" in return for all those [Autographed 8x10 Glossy Picture of Q]. It could simply be that Q is capricious... or maybe we just needed to have more incriminating images.

    Aha! Maybe something like this would get Q to put the Cruiser Commands on the Chel Grett for you! :P
