Bug Ship Trade....

I have a bug ship. :D

I'm not a PvP person anymore due to my hyper crappy connection now so I'm considering getting rid of it and as some of you my know I'm a big time Romulan fan (and Borg) but oddly enough I dont have the Tal Shiar ship set despite having all other Romulan ships. :eek:

Consequently, I will trade my bug ship for the following set of items:

A. Cardassian Galor Class Cruiser (1)
B. Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer (1)
C. 100 Keys
D. 25 Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Packs

I thought this might be an opportunity for a small community that may want to pool resources to get the ship as a contest prize type of thing instead of getting EC directly selling it on the Exchange as I was thinking maybe one person has each ship and another three or four the keys or something like that - etc.... Anyway, it is just something I'm considering....

If anyone is interested let me know.

Plus with the free T6 upgrade coming for all bug ships (unlike all other such ships) for the next X-pack it is guaranteed to remain the preeminent ship in the game for a long time to come for seriously competitive players.

    I think I know someone who might be interested but I haven't been able to catch him in-game yet.

    Edit: My friend is interested but he doesn't come to the forums. I am not sure how the PM system on the forum works but if you could PM me, I can give you his in-game handle for you to contact him. I think he's already got the 25 Romulan Survivor DOff packs but I'm not 100% sure.

    You do know that if you open 25 romulan survivor doff packs you may end up with another bugship, right?

    Perhaps. My friend doesn't like chances versus a guaranteed result.

    I opened up over 100 boxes the first time the ship was released - nothing. I opened up 150 the second time - nothing... The third time I tried 50 times - NOTHING! For these packs I have opened over 50 and I got the ship on the 55 pack.

    A guy in my fleet opened up 200+ and got nothing that is why I want the Galore to give to him. I hate the RNG aspect. The lobi element is nice but the cost of items is very prohibitive to say the least. We should be able to buy lobi in game via DOFF missions for marks or something like that but I digress....

    OK. Several people told me just to sell it but I wanted to try to give an option to others without 400-500 million cash in the bank. Anyway, my In game is: Eris@.Spartan

    Doesn't the BUG ship becomes Character bound once you open it?

    Yep. As long as you dont open the box its golden for trade just like all the other ships.

    I got one the third time around when it was offered, three Lockboxes and poof there it was...

    Funny thing was, I was trying for the Suliban Cell ship.

    Took another 12 LB's before I got that.

    No doubt. You are lucky to be sure. Belize it or not I too was trying for the Suliban ship since I gave up on the bug after spending so much on it over the past couple of years - go figure...

    On a side note, I once saw the text message that some guy got two (2) bug ships back to back. I was amazed as was the other 40 people in Ventrilo at the time accordingly, the channel exploded with cries of hardship and disbelief!

    That is pretty amazing.

    Well, amazing that people still have notifications turned on in regards to lockbox ship winners.

    I'm assuming he is highlighting the small but significant difference between the T5U ships and true T6 ships. The JHAS is getting T5U treatment, not full t6 as was originally implied, probably lowering it's perceived value to some.

    why is that ship so sought after, even when it was released there where far better escort ships available? i always took it as a novelty ship like the risian corvette, they use it for fighters on the carrier even ^^
