how to assign Nimbus pirates to your quick slots

I've just obtained this ability but when I try to drag it from my inventory to my quick slots so I can use Ctrl+1 etc for it it doesn't go in, even if I try to equip it first it still doesn't go in. I can assign shield and weapon batteries to these slots but not this. I managed it somehow with my Federation character but I cant figure out how to do it with my Klingon character. Please help.

When in space (whether within a system or from sector space, or the ship portions of the Dyson Sphere <- it doesn't mater) bring up your "powers" list, which by default, should be the "P" key on your keyboard.

From that list, drag the appropriate icon to whatever hot bar you desire to assign it to.

do as the poster above has said, but i didnt comment just to say that but to make a plea for more user instruction in the game. i have been around for a few years now and every now and then something i never even knew about still shows its face. not often but it does happen from time to time.

no real user guide out there for the game other than what players have made. just seems a bit odd

Remember to use the NP as emergency when your shields are so low.. NP doesn't hang around too long either. They heal your ship and then leave quickly..
