Plasma flamethrower. can someone help me make a lethal trait build.

I want to maximize the damage potential of the Romulan Plasma flamethrower Tier V rep. Can someone kindly advise me on a trait build and or equipment to maximise its damage output?

The two toons I use with the weapon is one Tac one Sci.

1. Try and use it mostly on your tac.

2. Deadly Intent. It's a great kit ability for this thing and can keep your fuel levels high.

3. Don't use it against Borg, they adapt to it fast.

4. Try and focus on keeping it as a good damage over time. Don't focus on abilities like Ambush, instead go for Rally Cry, Overwatch, and Motivation along with Deadly Intent above.

5. Since it is a bit of a close-ranged weapon, try and possibly also have either a Lunge (to exploit as well with) or Sweeping Strikes to either finish one off, or to keep back a group of them.
