Feedback on the Reputation Conversion System

The current reputation mark/borg neural processor/voth cybernetic implant/isomorphic injector to dilithium ore conversion is extremely monotonous and takes an excessively long time. Cryptic developers have previously stated they wanted us to spend more time playing the game and less time with character administration. Yet the current system requires an excessively long amount of time to convert useless marks/BNP/VCI/II into usable dilithium ore. The current system requires:
  1. Slotting a conversion project in the reputation window (4 clicks)
  2. Selecting and filling in the required marks/BNP/VCI/II (3 clicks)
  3. Waiting 15 seconds for the project to finish (Why?!)
  4. Clicking "Collect Rewards" (1 click)

The current system is extremely tedious and unenjoyable. I enjoy playing reputation missions, but I hate having to spend an extra minute or two with multiple pointless mouse clicks to actually use rewards I obtained from the reputation mission. The system used in Season 5 was far superior to the current reputation conversion system. Back in Season 5 we just had to do the following:
  1. Click on the Omega Store contact
  2. Click on the Omega item we wished to convert
  3. Item was instantly exchanged for dilithium ore

There was no 15 second wait time, there was no slotting of projects, and conversion went very quickly. Cryptic, could you please consider moving the reputation conversion to the reputation's store tab in the form of dilithium crates? It would make turning in items after a mission far less tedious and it would allow us as players to spend more time actually playing the game.

It almost seems as if they are trying to slow you down . . . It is just another in a long list of time gated events.
