Aug 7 Patch - DOFF system slow

I'm noticing that the DOFF system is acting awfully slow today. Its taking 5 minutes for the missions to cycle.

Can't be lag, since I'm playing the game without any noticable delay.

    Not DOFF system only, R&D have huge lag too.
    Resolved an issue where some Duty Officer assignments would get into a negative time state and wouldn’t complete.
    They "resolved" an issue but added huge lag in DOFF and R&D system..

    So - for clarification - is the intentional 5-second gate the "fix", or is it a symptom, or is it a temporary bandaid until they figure it out?

    God, I hope it's a band-aid and they don't consider this an acceptable fix for a problem a few people had. :eek:
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    Since I have 19 DOFF missions going on up to 5 days without completing, and my complete R&D tab unusable for over 4 days, it apparently wasn't even a valid fix.

    Resolved an issue causing a negative time amount will appear when a Duty Officer mission is completing.

    I hope this means that the patch tomorrow will speed up the completion of doff missions? I'm tired of spending 20 minutes waiting for the missions on my 6 toons to complete. I had time to make and eat lunch today and still had to wait for the last one to finish up.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    Its not a bug, its a intentionally introduced "feature"! Its nothing more than stealing your precious farming time, because time = ec or dil or zen. Its just another nerf for the people. Cryptic is on a nerf rampage, expect more nerfs in the near feature.

    Well the system is still taking 5 seconds per assignment, it just says "finishing" now instead of however long ago it should have finished.

    It's not fixed it is still slow. Some even say slower, but regardless of that it's still not acceptable.

    Seriously? The delay is still there, they're just calling it something else.

    No you are INCORRECT and I'm CORRECT! It is a hidden nerf from the devs, do you really think they are so stupid and can't code their way out of a paperbag and they would do such a stupid coding mistake??? they are stealing our income, because like i said before, your gaming/farming time equals your ec/dil/zen income.

    P.S. It's even slower now after the patch, haha. this game is dying a slow, painfull death. and those "masterminds" behind the curtain, they behave like headless chickens, they don't have a clue what this game really needs. they use the trial and error methode now in hope it will somehow work. fyi, if you did'nt notice this, we are all the beta testers.

    P.P.S. 24 assignments x 5 seconds = 120 seconds or 2 minutes lost for nothing. now if you check your completed assignments every half hour, it adds up. is this now the new D.O.? Delay Online?

    The delay on completion is still in game. Annoying.

    Stuck assignements are still stuck. The only change is they don't show the negative time to completion, they only show 'completing' while they never complete (yes, I haven't spend infinite time watching if they complete, but it's fair guess as they're the same assignements stuck for days). Far more than annoying.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Is anyone actually shocked by this? Clearly whoever is in change of maintaining the doff system doesn't doff and is more than willing to take half measures rather than completely fixing the problem.. I'm very disappointed, the doff system has become a joke and shining example of the startling lack of QA at Cryptic

    Still no uncheck/check all box in the DOFF filter or unchecked all by default

    So where on the forums do we ask the question how much longer before they properly fix the DOFF UI that didn't need to be fixed to begin with??

    I wish I could speak freely here because then I would say something like: Only complete i.... and m..... would buy a lifetime sub in sto.     That is to no end annoying. imagine you have over 400 very rare doffs and you receive another very rare but bound doff. now if you want to dispose the bound doff, you have to uncheck every of the small little boxes until you find the right department of the doff. it's annoying and time consuming as hell.(maybe this was the goal?)

    I dunno who coded the doff gui, sometimes i think it must be a "voodoo coder" or someone from fisher price.
