Season 10 and Gear

Ok, with season 10(expansion whatever you want to call it) we are receiving a level cap increase, as well as new ships and new gear levels.

Cryptic has already confirmed that T-5 ships will be able to be "retrofited" to comparable stats of the T-6. The only difference will be access to the unique T-6 ship abilities.

My Question is this, What about our existing Mk 12 Fleet gear. Will we have to grind dilithium and fleet marks all over, start from scratch as it were, or is there a similar program for updating the fleet weaponry/consoles and Existing Reputation gear to mk 14 levels from their Current Mk 12 cap.

    if anything, I bet it will resemble the nukara stuff, where you could trade in your old gear for the new stuff.

    I believe Geko said in an interview that the crafting system was going to be used to upgrade existing gear. You could craft a token that would enable the upgrade that could be sold for lots of money.

    Hence why I've hit the crafting system hard and encouraged my fleeties to do so. Futureproofing FTW!

    It won't be Season 10 in any way, shape or form. It is Expansion Two, officially named "Delta Rising."

    Season 10 will be the next season after the expansion.

    No. With Expansion 2, we are getting a level cap increase as well as Tier 6 ships and new gear levels.

    Season 10 will come along later after Expansion 2 and has nothing to do with Expansion 2 beyond being the next update in line.

    Can anyone provide a quote form a dev on the subject? Basically all I am concerned about is, will we have to grind all new gear, or be able upgrade by whatever means. (Crafting system, trade ins like nukara, whatever system to go from mk 12 to mk 14 )
