Character Select screen ship missing

This problem comes and goes it seems, but most of the time, on the character select screen, one of my characters does not have their ship floating above the captain and his crew. Instead, they have another character's LEGS hanging in the air over them.
It looks like one character was on a ladder and the crew came along and took the ladder away! Now they're just floating there above the captain and the rest of the away team! :-)
About 5% of the time, the ship will show up, usually after a server restart/maintenance, but within days, it goes back to being the legs again. And it is always the SAME bridge officer's legs (my one Caitian bridge officer, so easily recognizable).
Possibly related: this is the one character that also consistently has newly recruited bridge officers say they would be honored to join my character's SHUTTLE crew (naming the shuttle instead of the starship), regardless of whether my starship or my shuttle is the active ship.
I'm thinking something got hosed in a database somewhere, so it sees my shuttle instead of my starship, and my crewmember instead of my starship, when it tries to access them for the recruitment dialog and the character select screen group picture, respectively.
Minor annoyances, but still wanted to raise alertness to the issue. I have also opened a ticket on this (Ticket ID #2,620,640).
