Orion Sandals and Klingon Skirts

Quick question: Is there a reason why Orion's can't wear the Orion sandals with the Klingon skirts? My Orion has both the Bortasqu and Warrior skirts, but those big clunky boots are just not doing it. Also, the anklets clip with the boots.

    Unfortunately, that's been a problem for... at least a year, year and a half, just that I know of, and it still hasn't even been officially recognised as a problem, much less fixed.
