I just ran the 48 hour R&D materials DOFF mission and I can't run it again. Is there some sort of secondary cooldown on it similar to the cooldowns on the recruitment missions, like the Andorian DOFF recruitment at Starfleet Academy?
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
I suspect - yet cannot prove - that the reason it operates under the longer cooldown is an attempt to get players to play Queued Events for their VR/UR Materials...

Personally I've never understood why they have these cooldowns to begin with. If you want players to wait a certain amount of time before being able to do it again...just set the mission's runtime to that period.

It'd be nice if in this rush of making a user-friendly interface if they could have put in cooldowns for the academy missions.
