Any reason to get c-store corsair over fleet?

I want to get a corsair, I could get the c-store version or the fleet retrofit. My question is does the c-store version give anything that the fleet version doesn't? It says in the c-store it has tachyon drones, but wouldn't the fleet version come with those too? Or does the fleet version come with some other generic hanger pets or no pets at all?

Also, would getting the c-store version make the fleet version cheaper as well in terms of fleet ship modules?

    The fleet version doesn't come with any hanger pet, Just an empty hanger slot.

    Game is kind of screwy wrt pets at the moment, and may not allow you buy Tachyon Drones without the c-store ship. I dont know if that matters to you, not many people use them.

    You will not get a fleet module discount. Corsair is a T4 ship, upgrades only apply to T5 ships.

    The T5 retrofit isnt a c-store ship, its a fleet special, and those dont qualify for upgrade discount.

    Only T5 retrofit from the c-store gives you an upgrade discount.

    Honestly as someone who owns both, the c-store Corsair isn't worth it. It doesn't provide the discount, the Techyon Probes it comes with were good at one times, but suffered the single greatest nerf in the game and now are possible worse then shuttle 8 pets, and you just don't stay at that level long enough for it to be worth.

    Buy a Daciot instead, its one rank lower, so weaker stats, but its perfectly servicable at Captain as well, you get the interceptors, one of the best pets in the game, its a better turn rate, and its cheaper.

    Another perk of buying the C-store Dacoit is that owning it will unlock the Interceptors for other carriers (the Corsair being one of them, for example).
