When I first started playing Star Trek online I really Loved playing the PVE content. I have actually completed every episode on 5 characters. I done this on and off for almost a year. Then I started getting a little burned out so I turned to PVP.

Let me tell you. It was Like I down loaded a New game. I started buying diffrent ships so I could make diffrent builds. I even started reading the PVP forums religously. Now after playing almost everyday for 2 months I think I've gotten preaty good but, this post isn't about none of that.

This post is about PVP rewards. I know, I know but, please listen. I noticed that after playing PVP for the last few weeks. I haven't gotten any marks any Dilithium. NOTHING. So If some New Rep hub comes out. That has new items I want to get. I am forced to go back and play the same old PVE content that I have played a bunch of times because thats the ONLY way to get the marks you need. Please make PVP rewards a priority one problem that needs fixed. Playing a pug arena match lasts about the same time as a Elite STF. If you guys don't feel comfortable giving the same marks rewards as a STF. At least give half but, I'm not writing this to give you guys opinions on how to fix the problem. I just want to bring to your attention that there is a problem. For one. I sometimes want to play another match but I feel kinda MEH about it. I think its because theirs no ingame incentive. Please think about it.

On a side note. If you must make a argument to your superiors when it comes to changing or adding content thats not on a scedule. I know since I started playing PVP I have spent more money on zen than I did when I was playing only PVE. That might be a weak incentive IDK.

I just worry that because theres no rewards it might not give the new player a reason to play. God knows we need more PVP players. I think that after the STO player has went through all the PVE content they will turn to PVP. I know I did.

P.S. I know this feels rushed and rednecked. I'm writing this after about 10 pvp matches and its right at bedtime. I hope I got my point across. We need pvp rewards.. If not for us then, do it to get sto some new players.

They have to make Low Level PvP more interesting. If the people only test out PvP for their first time while they are Level 50 already, they soon will leave it again. Usually they can not keep up.

So there need to be a kind of reward for low level players, so they can test it out against others with low level equipment, and not fully equipped Level 50 players. The current state is, that Low Level PvP is dead!

For PvP in general you get Dilithum, just activate the Daily Missions. The problem with more rewards is, that it also would attract more AFKers to be around.

The real endgame contest after you max out all the reps, do everything possible in the universe is PVP. But most of the people don't play it because it doesn't bring any better rewards than 2 or 3 Elite STF-s, that are obviously easier than PVP. There aren't many people as deokkent that just enjoy it. There aren't any really good rewards, no way to introduce other players to PVP without getting obliterated (hell, I played 10 PVP-s, and I got 2 kills :D, but im to stubborn to quit), and no way to show who are the best players in the game. We need some leaderboards, better rewards, and an Division like system, like in the FIFA games (if you win 5 of 10 queues, you advance to next "Divison" and play against better players). PVP is good already, it just needs some things to make it great.

No, most people don't play PvP, because they can not handle a defeat. PvE at least offers them a near to granted win, even if it is only a victory over some dull NPCs.

I would love to pvp but i can't be bothered to be blown up and learn nothing about how to survive from fellow players.

To me it's like being insta killed over and over if you get me as you can text rarely counter it.

PVP has to be its own reward not an alternate grind

Um, I've never quite understood that mentality.

Is it because I grew up in a time of going to the arcade and playing fighting games there? Is it because I grew up with early FPS games while playing online?

I've just never quite understood the mentality that PvP has to reward anything other than your opponent crying...

It is about to minimize the time you have to spend on grinding stuff in dull PvEs to get new gear, while you rather would like to continue with PvP.

What game that rewards losing has not had issues with afkers/leechers/etc ruining the quality of the PvP in the game?

What game that only rewards winning has not had issues with win trading and the like ruining the quality of the PvP in the game?

You are right they should force you play/grind pve on my account to get the things I need.

    Let me check ....
    Eve Online
Rift (you only get reward if your team wins and you cant win if you afk)
War Thunder (you get more xp as you get more kills...even if you hunt for them)
