So There Are Six Tiers In STO Not Five. Here's Why.
Levels 0-9 Cadet/Lt. T1
Levels 10-19 Lt.Cmdr. T2
Levels 20-29 Cmdr. T3
Levels 30-39 Capt. T4
Levels 40-49 Rear Admiral (Lower And Upper Half) T5
Level 50 Vice Admiral T6
Plus Fleet Ship... T7?
Can people please stop saying that STO has five ship tiers.
Thanks,

Those are all T5. Cruisers at each of those level bands have 8 weapon slots. Cruisers at T4 have 7.
not to mention that cryptic themselves said that all C-store ships at VA or RA are T5... and they consider fleet level ships T5 +1 or T5.5 depending on who your talking to at the time.
Rear Admiral to Vice Admiral are all Tier 5.
RA ships and VA ships are both 12-station 9-console ships with the same base hull, weapons, and shields. And Fleet/Lockbox ships are not a full tier up (a case could be made for T5.5), only one console and only a 10% durability boost, while the same number of weapons and stations.
In short, if you're going to whine, at least be accurate.
So if we ever fly the mythical Tier 6 ship we'll turn into space lizards? What happens to Gorn or Saurians? :P

I love your signatures neoakiraii, keep em coming. :P
I always wondered why STO even has tiers to begin with. I figured it would be where you'd have your starter ship of course, then you pick your type of ship you want, then as you leveled you could upgrade the ship(e.g. buy more slots for it). Seems like such a waste using tiers that your going to have for maybe a few weeks at best.
Yep, do it for all the ships expect for.........
