I rage quit WoT. Got bored with the long TRIBBLE 45 minute DOTA2 matches. And am now getting back into STO for the time being. And what else is there to do that's actually challenging in this games besides PvP?

I used to go to Drunk's thread regularly to check out what the newest and best builds were. Since that thread is done, and I understand and don't blame him, though I thought it would be cool if people posted a bunch of their latest builds with the newer ships that have come out. Or even any different or interesting builds for older ships. Any bad-TRIBBLE heal builds? New builds for the Xindi ships? Best Vape builds?

I know a lot of the better players keep their builds kinda on the DL and shared only amongst in game buddies and stuff but how about some peeps share the love and get some new players excited about something?

I'd start the thread off with a great build, but let's be honest, I'm not good at thinking outside the box and only make mine off of what I glean from what better players are doing and have done and am too lazy to eff with parsers lol. I tend to go with ships and builds that I think are fun. Like just for something to do I put the new mirror escort together with a set of Elachi DHCs and tried to make it as tanky as possible.

And let's keep it positive/constructive and on-topic please.

whatever im using, shown in the gateway links, is probably a good build!

on a bit of a 5 fore weapons kick at the moment, really cant beat the damage you can cause with it, even on the cruisers

Kinda Sad that the thread about the guy getting a new gaming mouse has twice as many posts and views than this one. Why won't any of the vets or competitive fleet pvp'ers post any builds?

Cause they do not run stock builds...do not run individual builds. They run comp builds - they run builds that will vary from encounter to encounter. There is no "one build" sort of mentality...it's variable. Folks are constantly evolving/adapting their builds.

I know Virus, but there's been so many additions in the last few months I was just hoping people would put up some new builds and we could get a thread going again where noobs could come to check em out.

I imagine for a premade match builds will be tweaked and sorted out for the best synergy and **** but what about people's "daily drivers"? I see alot of vets in PUG matches so how about some latest PUG builds then?

Seems like people are willing to offer critiques on builds but not share their own builds.

edit: like Deokkent, if it's just to peeps feeling lazy about then, I can understand. I guess it can be a pain to do it on STO academy... No worries, and I'll let this thread go and move on...

Dont have any "cutting edge" builds most of them are plain and mediocre except that they are all very tailored to the toon's skillpoint distribution, which reflects their profession and faction and secondary emphasis.

Most helpful thing I can do is ask if you have a direction / role in mind
