Its got to be said: Why did they leave the most awesome Xindi ship out of the box.

Look at that, a thing of beauty. Tri winged, sleek, deadly. And they leave it out.

Why? Its beautiful, a work of art. The other two... one looks like a Romulan octopus excretion the other looks as if its been thrown together blindfolded. I know these artists do a great job but please... if you want sheer awesomeness looks. Bring in the Incect ship! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Why did they leave Primate Bridge Officers out of the release also? Brains will be baffled.

    It's not a horrible looking ship, but it looks like a 3 pronged claw, and we already have a playable 3 pronged claw in the Recluse.

    There's also the Breen Frigate - I forget the class name - from the 2013 Winter Event.

    As for the OP and thread title question: 1) They may not have rights to that if it didn't appear in the show; 2) They may be planning a limited release for such a ship much like they have with the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and that one Voth ship (and why do I always misspell them as Vorth?).

    Neat. Then yeah, I'm guessing it's being set up for something like the JHAS or the Voth ship, though I suppose they might do the Winter Event with it.

    Although there are two other species - we might have a second Xindi box being planned as well.

    Reminds me of a thread a while back, where someone claimed that the Tholian Carrier and insectiod Ship are the same, because they use the same design.

    I don't think it's gorgeous, but it is one of the better Xindi designs. Maybe they have something else planned.

    The insectiod ship is what I was hoping for. Besides I love the SFX of its weapons. (I'm sure STO would have gotten that wrong, just listen to the disruptors in game. LOL.)
    The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

    If Cryptic does add this ship, then it will be available the same way that the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and Voth Bulwark are available. Through some Duty Officer pack event where the cost on the Exchange will be about 500 million EC during the event and only available through trades after the event due to the 500 million EC limit on the Exchange.

    Just saying...plus goes to show that the Insectoid ship just wasn't as memorable as the Reptilian or Aquatic ships...plus the others had more time on screen.

    I mean I re-watched ENT last year and I honestly don't remember the Insectoid ship...

    Not as memorable? Yeah...no. Maybe to you. But not to...well, quite a few people, apparently.

    And yeah, the Insectoid ship looks nothing like the Recluse. Plesh Brek, yeah. But not like the Recluse at all. Same basic shape =/= actual similarity. Especially since they're basically the exact opposite of similar types of ship, hence the reason that if you wanted to make this argument, the Plesh Brek is the way to go.

    But yeah, this needs to be in the game. And honestly I'm guessing it will be. I doubt they'd leave it out like this.

    What?! The Insectoid ship was my favorite. It had unique awesome SFX and rapid fire blue weapons. Tri wing ships rock. What battle was you watching?

    Enterprise attack the Xindi weapon twice. The Council & Countdown are the episodes if I remembered correctly. Those ships were out there clearly firing away.

    Oh well at least i have the Star Trek Starships magazine edition on the Xindi Incectoid Starship. repleat with a model to go with it.

    So at least I'm not fully without. LOL :D

    The Insect Xindi ship is my favorite of the Xindi ships.

    Well i don't know why it was sidelined Cryptic has their reasons but as you can see. It would be a popular move if its brought out at some point. Just saying. :)

    It'll be added into the game eventually - there's no way they could leave it out, it's too good a ship design.

    They like to put the bait on the hook first to see if anyone bites and then they will capitalize on it once it comes out IE:jem hadar attack ship.

    I hope we'll get the Insectoid and Arboreal ships at some point. The latter model was also used for the Tellarite ships in "Babel One", so hopefully it'll show up soon.

    Hmm, of the Xindi ships, i only distinctly remember the Aquatic one. The others were far too small and moving too fast for me to ever see well. (Of course I know them from pics on the internet, but from the show itself, no i don't remember the other ships.)

    Either way, the Aquatic Xindi vessel is by far the nicest.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    That ship is far better looking than the recluse. 3 pronged claw?? the breen raider also have something similar. I dont think we need to "discard" ships with that aspect. Because some players will like one, some others will like another one.

    As i said in other post, i was expectint reptilian and insectoid playable ships.. i dont really feel so much about the acuatic carrier. But i guess the design was easier to get into the game... less hard work, i can imagine.

    probably the same reason they left the bulwark out of the voth one. it will be one of the very rare drops from a promotion later on.

    I just got that ship in my ST ships collection as well, would have been sweet to have the virtual one as well.

    I wonder if those ships will appear as mobs in story content one day. I really hope the next FE implements the Xindi somehow - beside all the DQ stuff we are destined to get.

    Does it really matter? This is gonna be just like all the other lockbox ships. Players will use them for a few days, they'll be disappointed by their performance, whine and cry and demand a change to make them equal to everything else, and when that gets ignored, they'll sit and collect dust and go up on the exchange for millions of ec more than they're worth. So who cares what they did and why?



    I dont get tired of the game, I get tired of the people I have to play with.
