Could we please get some Xindi Primate and Insectoid DOFFs seeing as the Reptilian Xindi waged war against the Feds over the Super Weapon it seems odd that they were the DOFFs of choice!!

This lockbox concentrates on Xindi-Reptilians and Aquatics, the next lockbox will focus on Insectoids, Arborians and Primates. The 2nd Xindi lockbox / lobi store ships will be the Insectoid (escort?) and a revamped Primate ship. (Cpt Geko mentioned this in his last interview with STOked)

Geko talked about the desire for more Xindi BOFFs in the last interview. He said that Primates and Reptilians were definitely coming and I think Arboreals, and if they develop the tech to make the Hur'q, it could easily apply to Xindi-Insectoids as well.

      I'd say it's only a matter of time. =)

LOL. I know, and to make it even more funnier, try putting the ship on a Caitian captain with Caitian Boffs :D

And I got to agree, the aquatic dread carrier looks amazing :)

This is one of the most cool lockboxes and I dare say, it has very good succes. Lots of good stuff in it, not just the ships.

Umm, an escort that has a 1.1 shield mod and doesn't trade anything for it? Not hull (like S'golth) not even turn (at 17, it's among the better turners). And 5 fore weapons to top it off. Of course with 5 tac consoles as well. No screwed up Boff slot layout either. Seriously, am I missing something?

And a carrier with a Commander tac, 2 hangars, 1.15 shield mod and 4/3 wep layout? What's it missing? Nothing as it also boasts a Universal Lt.Comm and the best turn of any full carrier. It can actually use the DHCs it can mount.

      That's just outrageous.

      Now the mirror ships:

The mirror escort sure suffers from an expected low hull, but it's got a very nice Boff layout (for my taste, the ensign would be eng, but that's about it).

The Mirror ki'tang: interesting Boff layout, I sure will try it out. It still keeps the only 11 boff abilities habit of BoPs (with the one Fleet Norgh exception), but in a newer way. Against a hegh'ta, it looses slightly in hull, but it switches consoles for a more escort-like layout. Hmm, it might actually end up being quite better than the hegh'ta

One question: Does the Ki'tang get 'Flanking' or 'Improved flanking'? I thought the latter was reserved for the reen Plesh Brek. Also it states in the blog as improved and +25%. Improved is +33% though. I guess the Ki'tang gets the regular flanking which is +25% damage, though.

The Mirror T'Varo is another variation on Romulan warbirds, this time with a typical escortish Boff layout. Nothing to report here...except: Does the Mirror T'Varo keep the Enhanced Battle cloak, or just a battle cloak?

Ok, so I had to answer these questions myself.

      1) Mirror Ki'tang gets Flanking, not the Improved version of it. (Which makes sense, for once.)

      2) Mirror T'Varo truly loses the Enhanced part of its Battle cloak. Sad.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
      Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

And there we have it, continuity ruined once again.

As far as I am aware, Xindi joined the Federation in 2311 and New Xindus eventually became the Beta Federation HQ (Where if Earth fell, all jurisdiction of Federation affairs would then originate from New Xindus) due to New Xindus' strategic defenses (which ironically fell during the Dominion War when the Kalandra Sector (where the Delphic Expanse covers) was controlled by the Dominion after the massive assault in the region by the Dominion called 'The Summer Offensive').

The Xindi was suppose to be mentioned in Star Trek before Enterprise and was suppose to appear as a major Alpha Quadrant species in Deep Space Nine. But due to Budget constraints with the huge number of supporting roles, they didn't go with it and Xindi was kept aside for another project (ENT: Season 3) New Xindus was actually suppose to be where Starbase 375 was.

From what I have briefly read, is that the Xindi are only just appearing from an exile? Feels like the Xindi have been ignored by the Storyline Devs.

Finally, Xindi was indeed referenced in Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode "The Battle".
A Xindi Insectoid was on TAS in 2269.

This is some cool info and supports the whole issue on dominion war and enterprise. Even myself being very well versed in Trek info I didn't know all of this.

I will say also that even though I wasn't quite interested in the main lockbox/lobi ships mostly because I mostly play KDF but I might get them if I had a Xindi federation character or more to play. Overall though it being said Borticus did a lot of the STO teams work on the lockbox itself he did a very great job on it. Most mirror ships to me just weren't worth using but this mirror bop is an excellent ship even if its short a console and 1 Lt power from most bops of fleet strength it is an excellent addition to the bop line and a usable end game/elite worthy ship.

Only real way this can be improved as far as how this lockbox works with stuff like tachyon beam where the introduction of power insulators to this day they give too much resistance to the receiving end of these types of powers. Ever since the beginning of f2p the science powers haven't been that great most ppl just use them for heals or damage resist since you click 1-3 times on power insulators and yer covered just like with tactical team you just need the ensign one and you clear any boarding party or APB. On that note that one should be revamped too being it should be a % chance of removal on that note and maybe something similar with power insulators.

The tooltip for the Pattern Recognition trait reward pack says:
      +2.5% Defense
      +1.5% Shield Hardness
      (4 stacks max)

The Dev Blog advertised this as
      +2% Defense
      +2% Shield Hardness
      (4 stacks max)

The actual trait, once you unwrap it and can no longer sell it, turns out to be:
      +1.5% Defense
      +1.5% Shield Hardness
      (4 stacks max)

I verified in combat that the Defense bonus is +1.5% per stack; the shield hardness is much harder to check, of course.

But depending on which of the two inaccurate and misleading descriptions you believed, it is missing either 4% Defense, or 2% Defense and 2% Shield Hardness...

I was lucky to get a Narcine Dreadnought Carrier at the weekend and I have to save I love it. She turns like a dream, holds her own in a fight, great fighters and she reminds me of the Whitestar from Babylon 5. :)
