Dynamic patch failure

I am encountering "dynamic patch failures" when trying to start a foundry mission and explore nebula missions. There doesn't seem to be any recent posts regarding this problem. Anyone else encountering this problem right now? Any suggestions?

    I turned off "on-demand patching" in the launcher's options section. It seems to have worked, but from my perspective something is still not quite right. After 2 1/2 years of playing, I have never encountered this issue before.
